If you are unfamiliar with Zoom video conferencing or have trouble accessing the event, then please see below for a simple guide to getting set up.
To join the session via web browser, e.g. Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- Go to zoom.com
- In the Menu, click on JOIN A MEETING Enter your meeting ID which is a 6 digit number
- Click Join
- If this is your first time joining from Google Chrome, you will be asked to open the Zoom client to join the meeting.
Please aim to join 5-10 minutes the start of the session to allow time to adjust your video and audio settings.
Video sharing is welcomed, however, to minimize noise interference and distractions, microphones should be muted during the mediation and while others are speaking. Please make use of the chat function to communicate and ask any questions during this time.
There will be times where attendees will be invited to unmute and and interact during the session, particularly the discussion/Q&A at the end.
The meditation and speaker will be recorded, so please be sure to use the chat function if you do not wish for your voice to be recorded.
